The restaurant was born in a good cradle in 1976 and only became consolidated in 1985 when Castelldefels was consolidated as a tourist town. La Canasta is a tourist reference point, as can be seen in the international guides, Michelin, and the thousands of tourists who come to visit it from the furthest corners of the world. History goes on, the changes continue, and from the stories of the old fishermen only a few nostalgic neighbours remain, the ones who know and say.
